Cleanliness and Circumcision
The topic of circumcision is no different than discussing something like politics or religion. Many people have strong views on this subject in an empathic position such that nothing in this world could potentially change their positions. After involving in a little research done by me on friends and family regarding the uncircumcised versus circumcised, I got to know that the best what I can do is to provide some information and make people aware of chief facts regarding circumcision.
The subject of Circumcision largely affects the medical politics. During the early years of 1975 itself, about 93% of young boys in America were either being circumcised or had a surgery done on their foreskin just after their birth. Since then, there has been a movement to restrict such an unnecessary medical practice. Recently, these figures have largely dropped down. During the year 1990, only about 63% of males were involved in the procedure of Circumcision for reasons other than religious traditions.
The procedure of Circumcision is done solely for hygienic reasons, and not for medical reasons. Sharing the views of many people, they think that having Circumcision allows them to easily take care of their penis other than hygiene. About 10% to 14% of uncircumcised boys face inflammation or infection, while the problems of inflammation of balanitis or glans is almost twice more common in uncircumcised boys as compared to the circumcised ones. Again, the urinary tract infections occur to 1 in 100 uncircumcised boys, whereas these kind of infections occur only to 1 in 1000 circumcised boys. But truly speaking, the decision of whether or not to go for circumcision is solely a matter of personal choice.
Apart from the medical politics, the topic of Circumcision also affects our sexuality. A Circumcised man has a number of benefits when it comes to sexuality. Firstly, circumcised male don’t really need to bother about cleansing their foreskin daily. But in case of an uncircumcised man, special care must be taken by him daily to move the tight foreskin up and down, and clean it to avoid the serious infection or odors because of the buildup material.
Secondly, when it comes to preference, women always prefer a man with penis that is circumcised, since it may be helpful to carry out intercourse in a less frictional manner. When talking about sexual pleasure, there is no good or bad case, since as mentioned above it’s a matter of personal taste. Both situations are acceptable medically and hence, you can enjoy your sex life in either of these situations.
